A good money making business can easily be birthed out of adversity. Some say that necessity is the mother of invention; and many lucrative cottage industries are developed when individuals suddenly find themselves unemployed. Husbands may lose jobs through company cutbacks, and wives may find themselves at home after having a baby. But creative individuals can start a money making business simply by using skills and expertise honed from a fulltime job. Before developing a home-based enterprise, individuals should assess which personal strengths and abilities are marketable to benefit others. Secretaries, bookkeepers, personal trainers, dog groomers, janitors -- the list is never ending of formelry employed individuals who can use skills learned on a 9-to-5 job to start a new enterprise.
Just because the company closes its doors and everybody gets a pink slip doesn't mean that a free thinking worker has to stop working. The same ethics and professionalism that earned a weekly paycheck can be put to good use as a self-employed entrepreneur. Once individuals have compiled a list of valuable skills, the list needs to be refined into two or three possible options for starting a money making business. Individuals should be realistic about marketable skills that might lead to self-employment. The key is to select a talent or service that people want and need and put a good price on it. Sometimes the search for one type of home-based enterprise might lead to actual employment in another. Novice entrepreneurs should remain just as diligent and optimistic about work opportunities as those who labor in the gospel. "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord" (I Corinthians 15:58).
Out-of-work secretaries and bookkeepers can contract services as virtual assistants and girl Fridays, lending a hand on a contract basis to several different small companies that may not be able to afford to hire a fulltime administrative assistant or receptionist. Personal trainers can get personal with owning their own business by running newspaper ads or hosting websites offering individuals, groups or companies exercise or weight training classes. The local gymnasium may not offer personal training, but that could be a good opportunity to stop by and offer value-added services which can bring new clients to the gym and money in a new entrepreneur's pocket! Dog groomers can offer a door-to-door service, picking up and dropping off pooches to save owners time. Pet lovers may not be able to resist the convenience of having a pup coiffeured AND chauffeured for a little extra fee. And cleaning services are really cleaning up nationwide. Janitorial companies are probably one of the fastest growing independent enterprises in the country. Everyone needs cleaning help, whether it's a residence or corporate plant. Owners can take businesses from part time to professional by bidding on government contracts and gradually adding personnel and vehicles to build a money making business.
Writers, graphic designers, and account executives might consider pooling their talent and resources to start a money making business offering publication or promotional advertising services for small and large corporations. While one individual may lack the finances to start an independent agency or creative marketing group, five to six unemployed individuals may be able to come up with enough capital to turn a sad situation into a success. And if no one has enough ready cash, one or more team members may be able to secure credit from a lender willing to finance a promising new venture. All that's needed is a good business plan with projections for potential earnings for two to three years. An impressive plan will cover all the bases, such as overhead expenses, wages, and the cost of self-promotional advertising. As a money making business, a creative group can incorporate and bid on government contracts, work for nonprofit agencies for a profit, or offer consultant services to other thriving companies.
A new money making business will have to comply with local, state and federal revenue laws. New entrepreneurs should visit the local licensing office; apply for an Employer Identification Number online for banking and payroll purposes; and have calling cards professionally printed. A brand new enterprise doesn't have to incur a lot of overhead. Consider using a spare bedroom, basement or garage from which to operate for the first year or two until the enterprise can build up a substantial customer base. Home-based and cottage industries often use cheap labor by employing high school children or family members. Entrepreneurs specializing in home baked goods or catering will need to apply for a food handler's permit to protect themselves and the public from any liability. City permit offices will want to conduct an inspection of the home's basement, kitchen, or working quarters to ensure that the facility doesn't present a hazard or public health concern.
Entrepreneurs who consider running a money making business should not overlook the power of the worldwide web. The Internet simply brings the world to your door with a global clientele of eager buyers. Selling like-new items on web-based bidding sites and flea markets is a great source of additional income. New entrepreneurs can build a website and feature photos of products or an online catalog of merchandise for cyberspace shoppers. Website owners can collect monies by opening a merchant or universal payment account for domestic or foreign shoppers. In spite of high unemployment rates and company closures, enterprising unemployed workers can use the same skills and talents that brought home the bacon by running a home-based business. The Internet is the door to the super highway of cyberspace commerce; and nearly anyone over the age of 18 with an innovative idea, a home PC, and a little persistence can get on board for financial success.

Earn money from Article Marketing
This may seem like a harsh title, tinged with arrogance, but like all worthwhile online marketing ventures, it hasn't taken long for the holes to start appearing in the fabric of the system once the benefits of article marketing were introduced to a much wider audience. If you are thinking about entering the article marketing arena, or even if you've been at it for a while and are disappointed in your results, I hope that this article will give you some ideas on the way to go about things, as well as some things to avoid at all costs. A lot of people will tell you that you don't need to be a good writer to use articles to promote your business |
This is rubbish, pure and simple! If you can't write at least reasonably well, your efforts will actually do you more harm than good.
Think about it - rightly or wrongly, your credibility will be affected by what you write and how you write it. As a reader, when I see things like "Are You Tired Of Loosing Money Online", my idiot radar switches on immediately, and I click away. It's true that you don't have to be Shakespeare, but if you can't spell (spell checkers aren't that difficult to use), can't punctuate and don't have a basic grasp of English grammar, you will appear, to a large number of people, to be an idiot.
People don't often want to place their trust in those they perceive to be idiots, much less do business with them. It doesn't matter if it's fair, or right or wrong, it's just true.
As an article directory owner and publisher of articles myself, I'm quite often appalled at the standard of writing on display. Having been raised to believe that if a job's worth doing, it's worth doing well, I can't help but cringe as an editor when I see so many poorly constructed efforts. So, if you struggle with writing, think twice about proceeding, and, if you prefer, use a ghost writer to create your copy. This doesn't guarantee quality of course. I've seen pieces by freelance writers and ghost written articles of a very poor standard too and can only admire the audacity of these people who are getting paid for what they do, and yet manage to do it so very badly.
If English is not your first language, submitting horribly mangled efforts is unlikely to work either. It's not that editors are unkind or unfeeling or don't understand and appreciate the effort you may have put in, but they usually don't have time to proof read every article they receive and poor translations are among the first to end up coming under the unforgiving hammer of the delete button.
As a writer, remember that the directory owners are looking for a reasonable standard. If they fill their directories with rubbish, they won't get returning visitors, and the usefulness of their site soon becomes questionable to anyone who drops by looking for some good content to republish on their websites or blogs. This is a serious threat to authors, publishers, directory owners and the entire fabric of article marketing.
Moving on, let's talk about keywords. So many people get this aspect wrong, it's worth mentioning it yet again. If you are targeting the key phrase "dog kennels" for example, you want to try and use it in your title, and to sprinkle it around in your content, probably ending up with a hyper-linked example in your resource box. However, overuse will kill your work and probably see your article rejected by any decent directory. If the following were to appear in the first paragraph, you will, in all likelihood, be zapped immediately by any savvy editor....
"Dog Kennels come in all shapes and sizes. When shopping for dog kennels you can often find them at better prices online. Dog kennels are important for your dog's well being and choosing dog kennels that are not suited to the dog you own is a common mistake. So, how do you choose dog kennels and where should you start when looking to buy dog kennels online?"...

Now, if you think that looks OK, I'll save you some time and effort. Don't try your hand at article marketing. This example is not uncommon. With the proliferation of automated writing software and the insistence by "experts" that keywords are vital, this is exactly the sort of dross that fills the moderation queues of directories everywhere. End result - cyber garbage tip.
You will also notice, through the painfully manipulated and halting style, that the article already sounds like an ad. That's because it is - it's not an article, it's poorly written ad copy and it won't work. Writing articles and writing ads are two completely different disciplines and you will do well to remember this if you want to succeed with article marketing.
Editors quickly recognize and reject such obvious ads. Sure, if you mass submit, one or two of your efforts will make it into some of the less discerning directories, but who is going to pick up your work and publish it elsewhere? Poor articles will deliver poor results every time - that's a guarantee I can give with confidence.
If it's all beginning to sound like a lot of hard work, well, it is. However, following a few simple rules will ensure that article marketing works for you. Remember that quality is always preferable to quantity and you won't go too far wrong.
Read the submission guidelines of the directories you submit to as they all have their own rules and getting off on the wrong foot won't help your efforts.
If you use article submission software, some directories won't accept your work, although the majority will. If you use an article distribution service, choose carefully as many directories view these in a very poor light due to extremely bad or non existent quality control. As you will be paying for the service, ask around about their reputation and effectiveness before buying.
Although it's tempting to want to get your article into hundreds of directories, it's sometimes better to be selective. Often, a well written article submitted to a handful of quality sites will be a better bet. There are plenty of niche directories as well as general ones, so your choices are plentiful. 'Good' doesn't always mean only those with high PR for example; there are plenty of lesser known and smaller sites where your work will get good exposure and not be lost in piles of dross.
There is a lot more to this subject, but these points should give you an idea of some of the pitfalls and help you to avoid making some of the more common mistakes. There is no doubt that article marketing can be a powerful and effective promotional tool for almost any business. Just be sure to do your research and provide a worthwhile product in your writing efforts, and your reputation will flourish.

Make money from affiliate marketing
| Here is where the 3 steps to becoming a master affiliate marketer comes in. Do it right and you could reap abountiful harvest almost instantly. Step #1: The master affiliate marketer learns by doing There is a loophole you can take advantage of today - the “taking action loophole”. More and more people are |
getting online and this means more and more information ‘noise’ is being produced by the second.
Here’s how easy it is. Just surf less and do more. If you’re someone who loves to check out nice sales pages, get involved with the latest product launches then make a decision to stop doing all that.
You need to start doing the action steps that lead to your affiliate success. As you do more, you unconsciously accelerate your learning curve too!
Step #2: Seek out mentors who will point you in the right direction
Now, before I go on, you need to know that mentors can be anyone you meet online or offline. Heck, it could even be your own brother or sister. Mentors will point you in the right direction in life that always aims to improve your character or results.
Seeking one is not as simple as going to a chat room and saying, “I need a mentor!”. You have to be specific and know what you need in terms of guidance.
Let’s just say you need help in terms of copywriting.
Join the copywriting forums and listen to their discussions. Pick out the answer or post you can identify with and strongly benefited from. If you want, send a private email asking that ‘poster’ a question about copywriting.
Then, develop and nurture that relationship as time goes by. Remember, a good mentor always looks out for your interests first before his or her own.
Step #3: Take risks often!
This is the final step but it certainly isn’t the last. You must be courageous enough to take risks and take it often.
Cowards simply lie in the cave waiting to rot away but winners make things happen. Master affiliate marketers are known as risk takers who have an optimistic intuition.
One more important point before we come to a close: the difference between you and your boss or your rich neighbor only comes down to one thing. Time management. It’s the way you use your time that determines who you are. Use your time wisely.

Five Ways to make money online
Many bloggers, myself included, focus on monetizing the blog through ad sales and affiliate programs are sometimes overlooked. While the top earning bloggers (like Darren Rowseand John Chow) rake in plenty of money each month with affiliate programs, most of the rest of us tend to forget about affiliate marketing once we have enough demand to sell ads.
Recently I’ve done a little bit of research to look for some possibilities with affiliate marketing and I thought I’d share some of the networks that I’ve found. Affiliate networks are great for helping you to stay organized and for keeping your income in a few spots rather than having ten different programs with a $5 balance waiting to reach the minimum threshold for a check.
Check out the networks on this list and see if a few stand out to you for monetizing your own website or blog.
Commission Junction (www.commissionjuction.com)
Commission Junction is one of the larget and most popular affiliate networks around. The allow affiliates to promote a wide variety of products in all different categories. Some programs will pay per sale and others will pay per lead (such as credit card applications and many others).
ClickBank (www.clickbank.com)
ClickBank is another one of the leaders; however, unlike Commission Junction, ClickBank sells only electronic/downloadable products, mostly e-books. While Commission Junction serves many major companies, most products being sold through ClickBank are created by individual entrepreneurs who are looking for some help with distribution.
LinkShare (www.linkshare.com)
LinkShare is a bit more like Commission Junction with lots of choices, including those from very large companies in a variety of industries with just about any kind of product or service.
pepperjamNETWORK (www.pepperjamnetwork.com)
Pepperjam is a relative newcomer to the scene, but has already been able to put itself in the elite class. As an up-and-coming affiliate network, they are always bringing new advertisers on board that will make the program more lucrative for affiliates.
AzzogleAds (www.azzogleads.com)
The AzzoogleAds affiliate network has been around since 2000. They offer publishers plenty of choices in terms of what products can be promoted and how they can be promoted. They even offer Facebook applications for publishers.
